Great Wall 7/28/07
We went to the Great Wall today, having hired a driver to take us there and back, a location called Mu Tian Yu where we rode up from the parking area to the wall on a chairlift. We spent about 3 hours "climbing" the wall, then rode a sort of Alpine Slide back down to the parking area. 非常好玩！ (Really fun!)

oh my goodness! That looks amazing! and now you can tell everyone you saw the great wall of china. and amanda, you make me so proud - you wore the dress i got you! and of all days, to the great wall of china! yay!
So fun to see you all in China! I only just read your comment on our blog, and we are happy to have inspired more blogging. The "mumps" turned out not to be mumps, just some odd, unknown virus masquerading as such. We're glad to be back home, where folks don't eat in swimming pools, but then again, when we have a hankering for water, we head for the sea. Hope you can join us someday!
